No, not that picture! The big macro view picture of the 30yr Treasury yield.

Ole’ Bill is lookin’ good in his bond bear call so far after a recent hiccup. But the BOND KING has not proven his case yet either. There is a little decision point up ahead. A decision point is just that, a decision between what has been for decades and something new, something that could be a real “crack up”, as in boom. So, will the chart’s history hold true once again or are we going full frontal von Mises?

I’ve added the monthly EMA 120 to the EMA 100 to account for the slush area where the yield has tended to spike and reverse before failure.
