If this pig rolls… yields to baseline? S&P to (gulp) 1000?? What would this look like when I look out my window? Would even my Fidelity money market funds survive this? Hard to see how much of any institution (particularly a financial institution) could hold up under that kind of sea change… your thoughts?

IMO a combo of the government (fiscal) and the Fed (monetary) would still try to inflate. We could have anything from the deflationary Armageddon you illustrate, mass disenfranchisement, even revolution if they fail, to a massive bubble in some areas (led by gold/silver) as currencies get blow torched, if they succeed. I just don’t know. All I know is that gold is an anchor and a long-term value instrument and I believe it is entering a new era vs. stock markets.
