Current state of the 30 year Treasury bond yield ‘Continuum’

The 30 year Treasury bond yield is declining toward support #1

The 30 year Treasury yield (monthly chart) is flagging downward as expected after it poked through our 4% target (oh how often markets tend to overshoot to the upside or downside) amid 2022’s blow off in inflationary hysteria.

But now the question of a ‘new age of accelerating and persistent inflation (hello Ludwig von) or a deflation scare to beat all deflation scares?’ comes into play (perhaps with Goldilocks filling her face in the interim slack period). This chart, especially in combination with other important macro indicators, will mean only everything to market strategists going forward. Or at least is should.

Gary, is support the green line just above 34? (A test of commenting)
