Semi Wrong

That would be err… me. Semi wrong about the recent abdication of leadership by the Semiconductor sector.

Yet AMAT and LRCX are still in something of a breakdown mode vs. the broader Semi sector. I tried to act on this by shorting equipment companies (against significantly heavier long positioning in tech and other market areas) but 2 of 3 times the shorts ended in failure. Shorting is after all a nominal activity, you can’t effectively short a ratio without a bunch of moving parts in play.

Meanwhile, SMH had started to break down vs. QQQ but has since regained its composure.

And so, we view one mug’s wrongness in the light of day at the website that is not going to bullshit you pretending there is anyone here but a hard worker making sense of the market, sometimes being right, sometimes being wrong but always resisting dogma and a cemented viewpoint.
