YTD most markets are down. I am even. Okay, who cares? Being a cranky risk manager, I’ve underwhelmed for a long while now. But it gives me the feeling that no matter what they serve up at the decision points to come (bull or bear), I’ll be ready for it. Markets are in motion and here I sit, like a lump on a log (and not all cash either, just mostly).
I was actually YTD profitable as the market bounced earlier but then I sagged back into dull b/e status into the close. It’s okay, I always even out! Though just having 100% cash would be a little easier than long, short, hedge, long…
Time for commitment is coming though, one way or another.
