One of my favorite guitar players and through the lens of his music, one of my favorite humans too. I love how opinionated he is about music within a super wide range. The son of Jimi Hendrix and The Germs.
He is a fantastic technical player who feels little need to play that way. He bends things, elongates things and jams things home as they should be for the song, not to flex his virtuosity. He can make one note sound epic. The opening guitar lead is a few notes done just right.
