A band from my youth, the Bats are a band from New Zealand that I’ve always had a soft spot for. The music does not prove anything, preach anything, bludgeon anything or strut anything. They just stand there and play their wonderful brand of pop music. Saw them a couple or few decades ago at the old TT the Bears’ Place in Cambridge, MA.
Here they are on KEXP back in 2013. I think they are still out there and if they come to your town you should check ’em out.
