From an NFTRH subscriber who asked me if I know anyone with experience per the notice below. Well, I have a subscriber base full of people with trading experience and also a wider general readership full of them as well. So here is his request. Small hedge fund / equity research shop looking for a part-time trader, roughly 8-15 hours a week to start. We run a lot of positions (some in thin foreign names) in several accounts and need someone to keep on top of them. There is room to do analysis as well. Experience in dealing with brokers and running foreign small caps a plus but can train the right person.
The hours could be strange, with periodic Asia trading (punctuated by periods of no trading at all). Can live anywhere. Salary somewhere in low/mid five figures depending on the person, hours, role etc etc.
The ideal would be to find someone who adds value to the portfolio management process. The job is best conceptualized as an admin/support role to start. An appreciation for classical economics is certainly helpful. Would definitely consider someone who is already a dedicated trader but has capacity to manage additional positions.
