A year ago my daughter was an opera singer deciding to be a composer. It blows my mind that this kid came from me since I can barely keep simple rock arrangements without screw ups. She decided to compose, has been working with the New York Youth Symphony, and they performed her atonal/spectral piece, Fractales. We’ll be visiting NYC in May to hear them do her string quartet.
