An update was sent with a chart and short discussion of the combined status of SPX and VIX. The email was sent as much to check the email deliverability situation as anything else. Please advise if you did not receive, although nothing was rejected on my end. So that’s good.
People ask why I don’t use Constant Contact or MailChimp, which I use for the free eLetter. The reasons are…
- The email account I am using is a professional email service provided by Network Solutions, so it should be fine. Besides, I like the interface and everything about it.
- I don’t like what I’ve seen of Constant Contact and don’t feel that MailChimp is particularly good for my needs (like notes and record keeping within the email list, for example) either. They seem much more oriented toward marketing, which is not what NFTRH report delivery and updates are about, obviously. I could explore it further if we have any more issues, but for now I’d like to try to make this work.
Frankly, I am still wondering why Gmail has had some glitches. That was my preferred method of delivery. I broke the list up into smaller groups and have heard from a compadre that he’s had no such issue delivering to his list by Gmail.
Hopefully everything is squared away now but if not, I thank you in advance for your patience as I settle on something. I notice that WordPress offers G-Suite, which could be used with my @nftrh.com address. I may look into that if need be. But I hope against hope (and the internet gremlins) that it won’t be needed.
