IBM to Tolerance Point

[edit] I happily write about the winners and I sadly write about the losers.  IBM is a 6% loser and it is booked.  I don’t like the stagnant fundamentals and am not going to nurse the stock.  Opportunity cost and all…

Because stock trading and investing can shall we say, go wrong sometimes, we need to have parameters by which we don’t let them go more wrong.  IBM has gone wrong for me in the sense that I was not expecting earnings to drop it to support in one fell swoop.  I had been expecting a gradual decline to around current levels.  The tolerance of my technical view is shown in the chart.  The company’s fundamental performance (incl. the much hyped Watson) has already disappointed, and that is obviously a consideration too.
